Every feature is on from day one. Cash and bank are always free — an optional 5% only applies on card-processed deposits.

Best for you if: you take most payments as cash or bank transfer, or you’re just getting started and want to see how the card side plays out first.

If you don’t want to take credit card payments, the system is fully functional and free to use. You can use the guest booking feature to book in all your existing clients and friends’ dogs — free of charge, up to 20 a day. Sign up and try it out.
If you want to take card payments, we normally charge a small 5% fee — only on deposit bookings made via the booking link you send to clients. For a short time we’re reducing that commission from 5% to 0%, to give you time to try out the benefits of taking card payments.
If you do take card payments, the card payment processor will still charge you their normal fees, currently 1.5% + 20p for standard UK cards.
Card is optional on both plans — you decide. Here’s why most sitters turn it on once they see how it changes the day-to-day.
Owners who put a 50% deposit down at booking are far less likely to cancel on you or not turn up. And if they do cancel late or don't turn up, you have a cancellation policy — you could still keep the deposit.
At the end of the stay or walk, one tap on your phone charges the balance to the card you already have on file. No more waiting on "I'll bank transfer tonight" that turns into two weeks.
Card on file means you never have to ask for payment at pick-up. The transaction is handled — you can focus on handing the dog back and having a proper chat with the owner.
Some owners won't send a bank transfer to a sitter they've never met — but they'll happily tap a card. Card removes the last friction between someone thinking about booking and actually booking.
Card payments feed straight into your Earnings tab, per-client history, and Tax Year CSV. Zero manual bookkeeping. When Self Assessment lands you just export the file.
If they book online they pay a deposit by card. At the end of the day you can take the balance payment by cash or by card — it's up to you. Nothing is forced either way.
